New Year's Day, Francesco posted a photo of himself in his hometown of Florence. Happy New Year to Francesco and Florence's Ponte Vecchio bridge!
My brother Peter and his wife Terry texted a photo of them celebrating 2026.
Preston and I went to the Agility Dog Park at 3:00 p.m. Mark, the owner of doodle Mackie, had his golf cart set-up for "Yappy Hour." Nothing like having adult beverages and watching your dogs run and play.
The morning of January 2nd, there were some clouds and sunlight dancing around them.
At 3:00 p.m., Preston and I went to the Dog park gathering. This is a highlight of Preston's day.
That evening was the first full moon of 2026. It was a super moon called Wolf Moon.
The Campbell Brothers Band played at Palm Creek --- in the ballroom --- Saturday night. Tom and I had tickets.
On Sunday, Preston and I enjoyed another 3:00 p.m. visit to the Dog park.
That evening, Tom and I had an early dinner at The Olive Garden. I had a $17 gift card that paid for the drinks.
Tuesday, I took Preston for a nice long walk. He posed for a photo by the 10th hole.
Of course, there was another Dog park "Meet and Greet."
Later in the day, Tom and I went to the Pickleball Club "Welcome Back" Party in the Ballroom. The gifted band, Silver Scorpions, provided excellent music. Tom and I danced a few songs.
I had a massage with Heather early Thursday afternoon.
Tom found an upholsterer here in Casa Grande. Domingo came over to our trailer to look at the damaged recliner. He felt confident that he could repair several pieces.
Thursday night, Williams received snow. Several of my cameras captured the snow early Friday.
Preston and I went to the Dog Park for the 3:00 p.m. "meet up."
At 4:30 p.m., Tom and I went to the "Ross Talk." Ross Holcomb always has an interesting and thought provoking presentation.
On Saturday, upholsterer Domingo came to pick up the pieces of the recliner that needed to be repaired. He said that he would bring the pieces back on Monday. Impressive!
Sunday, I reached out to Mike McCrady --- the son of Richard's best friend. My Christmas card to him came back undeliverable. Mike gave me his new Chico address and he sent a photo of his family.
