Saturday morning, we were lazy in
rising and dressing for the day. Our Inn offers a complimentary hot and cold
buffet. It was delicious!
At about noon, Tom and I went
geocaching. We secured one virtual cache.
And we found one micro (nano) cache.
Sleuth Tom found the micro cache!
The next cache I found by a bridge
over the Santa Fe River. The fourth cache was near a
Veteran's Service Memorial.
Tom and I had a late lunch at Joe's
Tequila Bar. This bar and restaurant is attached to our Inn. We shared an order
of nachos topped with chicken. We also enjoyed a margarita.
Several hours later, Tom and I went looking for two more
caches near our hotel. We did not find the first one. Another individual did
not find it earlier in the month. Sometimes, that is a "red flag"
clue that the cache might be missing. The second cache we found on a separate
bridge over the Santa Fe River. Tom, once again, was the cache finder!
That evening, we had dinner
reservations at Geronimo Restaurant. The restaurant knew that our visit
was a birthday celebration. Our waiter brought us two flutes of a New Mexican
sparkling wine. We had pre-dinner drinks and then ordered our entrees. Tom had
the Lobster Tails. Yummy, yummy!
My Sea Bass was equally delicious.
We enjoyed a bottle of H&B Rose from Provence, France. As we left the
restaurant, a member of the Geronimo team snapped our photo.
